Questions, answered
What is The Local Plot?
A network of local business maps for Belfast and the surrounding area. Every map gets 50 numbered plots, and each plot is a local business you can trust — with its story, photos, reviews and one-tap contact buttons.
Is it only for high-street shops?
Not at all. Cafés, trades, mobile services, offices, online and home-based businesses are all welcome, as long as they're based in or really serve the town.
How do I find businesses in my town?
Pick your town, then browse the Plot Map. Tap a category to filter, search by name, or tap any plot to open that business's profile.
Can I advertise my business?
Aye, surely. Choose a free plot on your town's map, pay for the year and build your profile. We'll check it over and put it live.
What if my town isn't listed?
Use the “Ask us to add it” link under the town picker and we'll let you know when it's planted.
